Chemistry

This subject aims to equip students with scientific knowledge and skills for lifelong learning in science and technology and develop students’ scientific literacy. To attain these goals, a wide array of learning activities and strategies are adopted. Chemistry students are given the opportunities to engage in scientific investigations and problem-based learning which are of paramount importance in the understanding of contemporary issues. To further develop students’ competency, exchanges with science professionals in forums, university visits and overseas science tours are arranged for students.
